...Say to this mountain

and it

Will Move

Matthew 17:20

This is a blog for the broken-hearted - raw, unfiltered, and real. It is a place of hope and inspiration - stories of God's intimate reach, even in the darkest places.

Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Thank you for the promises you have given us. Lord at times we may feel weak. We question how we may accomplish all that is before us in a day, but because of you, mountains move. Because of you, seas part. Because of you, the sick are healed. Because of you we have purpose and everlasting life. Lord you are our father and I pray that we are reminded of the strength of that blood line flowing through our veins. I pray you remind us that when we can’t see what lies ahead, you already have a bird’s eye view and know the glory that awaits. I pray you help us spread our wings and fly like eagles, I pray you remind us that we can soar with confidence because you carry us and keep us. I pray we never lose sight of the fact that you can see it all and that you have promised us more than the world, you have promised us a heaven. I pray in Jesus’ name, AMEN.

Lord, How can I live when I've not yet died?

What can I give when it's borrowed time?

How can I love, if I've not yet tried?

You gave your only son to die.

When Shade spills over, but your light shines through,

Help me to see more of you.

More of you and less of me,

It is the only place of peace.

How can we fear when we are never alone?

Keep my path straight until the fear is gone.

I trust in your promise that new life begins.

We can't know the ending, one doesn't exist.

Matthew 11:28 NIV Come to me all you who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest. Lord, Thank you that we can come to you each day, all day, with our heavy hearts and tired minds. Thank you that when we come to you, you wrap us in your blanket of comfort, where you let us cry vulnerably, allowing us to be real and true. Lord, it's hard for my mind to fully understand, but it's clear to my heart just how much you love us. Thank you for bringing your LIFE into our death-filled bodies so that we can overcome - so we can crawl out from under the weight that presses down hard, so we can peel off years of decay and damage caused by a world gone astray, so we can stand strong in victory - made new because of you. Thank you for reminding us that with you, death cannot conquer. You, God, are our hope. You are our love. You are the reason we breathe. Keep our eyes forever searching for more of you.

In Jesus' sweet name,
